Paige Swanson is a native of Pawleys Island, S.C., and attends North Carolina State University in Raleigh, N.C. She is majoring in Science, Technology, and Society and Applied Nutrition with a minor in Nonprofit Studies. At NC State, Paige serves as the Food Donation Coordinator for the campus food pantry, is the founder of NC State’s Challah for Hunger Chapter, and is a member of a national service organization called Omega Phi Alpha. With Challah for Hunger, she paricipated in and served as a mentor for the Campus Hunger Project, represented the organization at RealCollege, and currently acts as a Student Representative to the Board of Directors. Paige is passionate about ending campus hunger, so that students don't have to worry about obtaining food while earning their degrees. This summer, she hopes to strengthen her advocacy abilities while interning at the Food Recovery Network on the Program Team.
