Laura joined the Hunger Center in 2022. As the director of development, she is responsible for raising funds for the Hunger Center’s fellowships and programs. Laura has more than eleven years of experience in grants management and fundraising, including major and mid-range gifts, grant writing, and annual fund campaigns. She previously spent six years in various development roles at Grameen Foundation, a global nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a world without poverty. Laura has also worked at the Office of Refugee Resettlement and The George Washington University, where she managed a federally funded international education program. She has a BA in International Affairs and French as well as an MA in International Affairs from The George Washington University. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling with her family, and listening to the latest podcast.
