Darcy O’Brien-Holt

Darcy holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Westmont College and grew up living in community with handicapped adults in Prescott, Arizona.

Darcy worked to increase gleaning sources for the organization's statewide food program and wrote, directed, and produced a video about the Network’s community organizing efforts. Her experience introduced her to the unique nature of rural poverty and made her a believer in the power of organizing to affect social change.

Policy placement: Catholic Charities USA

Alexandria, Virginia

Darcy worked in the Social Policy Department, where she focused primarily on welfare reauthorization and health care issues.
