This policy brief communicates the results from field research about carbon-reducing projects to policy-makers and organizations considering funding future projects. The brief aims to show that gender was an important concept in the design of these projects, and that for these projects to realize more significant benefits, donors, implementing organizations, and policy-makers should place a greater emphasis on innovation. This blog entry provides a more complete summary of the research findings: http://www.worldagroforestrycentre.org/newsroom/highlights/gender-connection-climate-smart-agriculture
