Tochi serves as the Leland program associate and supports the program through recruitment, data collection and management, event planning, and managing the needs of fellows and their host organizations. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While in North Carolina, she worked with TABLE, a nonprofit delivering healthy meals and nutrition education to children in Orange County. Her interests are in the ways hunger intersects with multiple systems such as transportation, housing and the environment. Tochi grew up in the Baltimore area where she still lives with her family. She enjoys reading, cooking, and connecting with the DMV Igbo community.
