Zero Hunger Summer Seminar Session V: Effective Advocacy

Academy, Updates, Zero Hunger

This Friday, July 31, from 9am — 1 pm ET, we will host the last of five sessions of our 2020 Zero Hunger Summer Seminars. This year's Summer Seminars are held entirely online, and are free and open to the public.

This Friday we will conclude our Summer Seminars with a workshop on effective advocacy and storytelling led by Yolanda Gordon, Senior Associate at RESULTS. As levels of food insecurity rise globally and in the United States, it is more important than ever to be an effective advocate and to engage and educate your elected officials about hunger.

To close out our final session, our current 3rd class of Zero Hunger Interns will present on research projects about COVID-19 and food insecurity. Topics will range from Pandemic EBT to global supply chain disruption. Tune in to listen, learn, and ask questions of our newest class of emerging leaders. Sign up here for link to the webinar, pre-reading, and full agenda.
