This broad-based coalition of non-governmental organizations, advocacy groups and religious organizations calls on the new Administration and Congress to work together with governments and citizens all over the world to reach the established international goal of cutting global hunger in half by 2015.
Effectively addressing both the chronic and acute aspects of hunger will require that the U.S. provide carefully balanced support for a range of programs to meet emergency, intermediate and long-term needs.
