Sixty three of the nation’s most prominent anti-hunger leaders were invited to DC for a review of the papers and a discussion on what steps would be needed to end hunger in America. Speakers included former USDA Secretary Dan Glickman, Senator Elizabeth Dole, Representative Jo Ann Emerson, Representative James P. McGovern and Bill Purcell, then Chair of the U.S. Conference of Mayors.
