Our honorees are Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Senator Roy Blunt (R-MO). These honorees have been chosen for their bipartisan approach to addressing hunger and poverty, both in the United States and around the globe. CHC Board of Directors Co-Chairs, Representative Jo Ann Emerson (R-MO) and Representative James P. McGovern (D-MA) will present Senator Durbin and Senator Blunt with the prestigious Bill Emerson and Mickey Leland Hunger Leaders Awards.
The doors open at the U.S. Botanic Garden for this reception style event at 6:30 p.m.
All proceeds benefit the Bill Emerson and Mickey Leland Hunger Fellowship programs and the advocacy and policy work of CHC.
