On August 1, 2005 the 11th Class of Emerson National Hunger Fellows proudly unveiled "Hunger Exists Here," a 5x18 foot "collaborative message mural" designed to capture a diverse group of people's thoughts, feelings, and experiences with hunger and poverty throughout the country. Crafted in collaboration with Miami-based muralist Xavier Cortada, the mural can currently be viewed at D.C. Central Kitchen, 425 2nd Street, NW, in Washington, D.C.
