Application Information
The Mickey Leland International Hunger Fellows Program
is a two-year commitment, with applications being accepted
every other year. The next
application cycle is from October 2004 to February 15, 2005.
Potential Fellows apply to work with existing development
organizations for two years. The first year, Fellows live
in countries in the developing world, and the second year
they live in Washington, DC, or in the case of Fellows placed
with UN Agencies, in Rome. Because this fellowship is a
two-year commitment, and because Fellows are placed in different
regions and organizations, it is very important that interested
candidates review the posted fellowship descriptions before
submitting an application. New descriptions will be posted
beginning in September 2004.
