The Congressional Hunger Center (CHC) expects
that its Mickey Leland International Hunger Fellows Program
will play an important role in enabling leaders to fight global
hunger. One of the reasons for this confidence is that CHC
has assembled a team of professionals who are available to
guide, critique, and facilitate the process of building such
a dynamic program. This International Hunger Fellows Advisory
Board offers CHC credibility and stability, but more importantly,
it helps CHC stay focused on the real, current global food
security needs. CHC asked eight professionals to join its
Advisory Board based on each individual's personal and professional
humanitarian experience, his or her familiarity with the history
of CHC, and his or her ability to connect Mickey Leland International
Hunger Fellows to a broad array of development professionals
