Working in the economic development and food resources units, Sylvie was part of a team that provided the vision and implementation strategy for the MicroMentor program’s first year at Mercy Corps. (MicroMentor helps entrepreneurs grow their businesses through mentoring relationships with experienced business professionals.) Sylvie also participated in drawing up the Mercy Corps food security approach and in upgrading a food security assessment tools website.
Sylvie holds an MPS in International Agriculture and Rural Development from Cornell University and an MA in Human Geography from the Sorbonne University in Paris.
