Sherry worked with SHARE Foundation’s local partner organizations tracking the impact of government and multilateral monetary policies on small-holder farmers.
Sherry worked to create linkages between farmers in the US and farmers in developing countries to share political and practical resources.
As a Peace Corps volunteer in El Salvador, Sherry focused on rural village and community development issues, specifically addressing water and sanitation. Later, she co-founded a women’s food cooperative (Cooperativa de Mujeres en Asociacion) for earthquake victims in El Salvador. Sherry holds a Master of Sustainable Development degree from the School for International Training in Vermont.
