Laura developed a media plan for the Consortium to help the agency more effectively draw attention to New York’s hunger problems. Laura also completed two reports on the declining Food Stamp Program participation in New York State and the shortage of emergency food in New York City since September 11th.
Laura designed a Transportation Equity Scorecard to highlight the lack of public transportation available in low-income neighborhoods nation-wide. Laura also assisted the National Campaign for Jobs and Income Support’s work on welfare issues.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from Vassar College.
