Felix wrote and produced the regional executive summary of America’s Second Harvest Hunger Study, compiling relevant local results and drafting recommendations for strategies to alleviate hunger in the Pittsburgh area.
Felix worked on Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) and state welfare programs, including an analysis of state childcare spending.
Felix worked in China on ecological design and rural development, and has also worked in Germany with automotive engineering firms. He earned a Master of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology—where he co-founded the student group Social Justice Cooperative—and a Bachelor of Arts in Mechanical Engineering and Peace and Conflicts Studies from the University of California at Berkeley.
