Darcy worked to increase gleaning sources for the organization’s statewide food program and wrote, directed, and produced a video about the Network’s community organizing efforts. Her experience introduced her to the unique nature of rural poverty and made her a believer in the power of organizing to affect social change.
Darcy worked in the Social Policy Department, where she focused primarily on welfare reauthorization and health care issues.
Darcy holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Westmont College and grew up living in community with handicapped adults in Prescott, Arizona.
