A Community Food Assessment of Washington, D.C. details the findings of Dana’s assessment and provides action-oriented recommendations for program enhancements, community organizing, and policy advocacy. Noteworthy within the assessment are up-to-date maps of grocery stores and farmers’ markets in the District and information addressing how farm-to-school programs could be successfully integrated into the D.C. school system.
