On Wednesday, February 27th, CHC celebrated our 15th Anniversary at the U.S. Botanic Garden. Joining us were our board members, staff, Emerson and Leland Hunger Fellows and alumni, and 250 friends and sponsors.
At the reception Congressional Hunger Center Board Co-Chairs, Rep. Jo Ann Emerson and Rep. James P. McGovern and CHC Founder Ambassador Tony Hall presented awards to:
- The Honorable Frank Wolf
- The Honorable Rosa DeLauro
- The Honorable Tom Harkin
For over 15 years, CHC has:
- Trained a new generation of committed anti-hunger leaders — more than 500 leaders to date!
- Provided connections between policymakers and frontline anti-hunger activists.
- Been a voice on Capitol Hill for the hungry in the U.S. and around the world.
